Logging workouts and sets
Set types, prescribed values, checking off sets, and rest timers.

Starting a workout
Whether you're starting your next queued workout from the Train tab or one generated by the AI Coach, logging works the same way. Each exercise shows the sets you're expected to complete, prefilled with target values to guide you.
Set types
Every set you log can be tagged as Normal, Warm-up, Drop set, or Failure, so your history reflects what you actually did, not just the numbers.
Prescribed values: gray vs. white
Prescribed values, whether pulled from a template, generated by the AI, or carried over from your previous session on that exercise, show up in gray until you interact with them. The moment you enter a value yourself or check off the set, it turns white, so at a glance you can tell exactly which numbers are the plan and which are what you actually logged.
Checking off sets
Only sets you check off are saved to your history. If you finish a workout with sets still unchecked, EVEX warns you how many incomplete sets won't be saved before you confirm, so you don't lose data by accident.
Notes and rest timers
You can add a note to any individual set, useful for things like form cues or how a particular set felt. After you complete a set, EVEX automatically starts a rest timer using your configured default, though you can turn rest timers off entirely or set a different default per exercise if some lifts need more or less recovery time than others.
